The oppositioon is rolling out the big guns with a $100,000 donation from an out of state donor. S Donald Sussman of Grenwich, CT. The MEA also sent a letter to all of their members saying do not sign said People's Veto petitions. and naming the American Cancer Society and American Lung Assoc. as opposing it. However the Lung Associety has denied it and gotten a n apology from MEA.
If you check Maineopengov.org you will find that the Dirigo agency spent of $1 Million on actuaries to "prove" that it saved money for the health care system. All that so it can tax your health insurance to pay the consultants another $1 Million or more to prove next year's "savings".
Ugh!
