Petition to repeal Maine Soda Tax Launched

A coalition made of the state's restaurants, convenience store operators, grocers, innkeepers, chambers of commerce and beer, wine and soda distributors has officially launched a drive to overturn the new taxes passed by the Legislature last month to support the Dirigo Health subsidized insurance program.
